Andre Wheeler
Attorney at Law

A native of Tennessee, André Wheeler graduated from the University of Tennessee at Martin with a Bachelor of Science in Journalism. He was a standout football player in high school and earned an athletic scholarship to play college football. His senior season, the 1988 team, played against Texas A & I for the division II national championship. André was named to the Dean’s Honor Roll each semester during his junior and senior years.

André graduated from the Thurgood Marshall School of Law and was admitted to the Texas bar in 2003. He was awarded with a judicial internship with the Texas First Court of Appeals during his final year of law school. André also competed in the Helen Dawn Williams Mock Trial competition during his second year of law school. He and his teammate placed in the top eight of forty-eight teams.

André has worked as a solo practitioner and with a boutique law firm since being admitted to the Texas Bar. André is also admitted to practice law in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Texas and the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas.
